Catching up on some editing + Bellevue Portrait Photographer

Catching up on some editing while I have a chance.  This is perfect weather for photographing sessions right now, not too hot and not too cold.  Overcast days are the best for scheduling sessions, so there's no harsh shadows and light changing every other minute.  I am currently scheduling 2017 senior sessions and if you are interested in booking a session with me, I'd love to hear from you!

Connor | Sammamish High School Senior

What a wonderful afternoon I spent with Connor finishing out my 2016 senior portrait season. We photographed Connor's session at a Redmond park.  It started to rain a bit near the end, but he didn't let a few drops of rain stop him.  We were able to get all the images we wanted.  He was great to talk to and photograph.  He's a very good student and I look forward to hearing which college he will choose to attend next fall.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing these adorable siblings and their parents for a fall session.  It was misting when we started, but they were up for whatever came our way.  Fortunately the rain held off and we were able to capture these wonderful images.

Four locations and a pretty young lady up for anything!  We wanted to take in some of the gorgeous fall colors, a water backdrop and even a little retail and vintage fun.  She likes Justin Bieber (Shhhh...so do I!) We talk about our favorite colors, YouTube videos, clothes, school and sports. I really enjoyed our afternoon together talking and laughing.  I shared a hair trick from my old hairdressing days (eons ago,) which we practiced no less than thirty times and by the end of our session, she became a hair trick pro too!

The weather was changing every few minutes from misting, to rain and then "hey, I'm getting wet and cold" rain, lots of wind and sunshine too, which is reflected in the images.

This is Livy's story:

She is a seven-year-old who knew what she wanted.  She put together her own Just.ME.Session.  She had a storyline about a little girl running away from home.  She came with all her props, her bright pink roll-away suitcase, and her most coveted treasures; her Teddy Bear, her stuffed animal kitten, along with her ribbons and bubbles.  For a little girl so in-charge and knowing exactly what she wanted, it's these candid images that captured this moment and where she is right now...

A beautiful little girl who still loves her Teddy Bear :)
