My sister-in-law and brother host Thanksgiving each year and my sister-in-law has a wonderful tradition.  She has a tablecloth and permanent fabric pens and we all get to write down what we're thankful for that year.  It's fun to read what everyone has written over the years and reminds us of family members that weren't able to make Thanksgiving dinner on a given year and know that they are in our thoughts and hearts.  It's a tradition worth keeping that I for one, very much appreciate.

Vegan leather book covers!  

The book showcased above is the Black Onyx, which is a rich black "vegan leather," The surface has a very slight texture that is smooth and soft to the touch and has the look and feel of leather.  They are available in the lay-flat or standard pages.  The lay-flat pages work particularly well when you showcase one image over two-pages.  I'm excited to include an alternative to leather for 2012!

Redmond Photographer | Bobcat visitor

This one has been a frequent visitor to my yard the past month.  I was working in my office and caught the color of this bobcat out of the corner of my eye.  I always have my camera ready and captured this face shot!  If I my head wasn't buried in front of dual monitors working on post production, I would have noticed how quiet it was outside my office window, no bunnies, squirrels, or chipmunks, which I see all day long, but they all disappear when a bobcat is in their midst.

I can't take credit for this festive display.  My sister and her family always decorate their home for the various holidays throughout the year and I was so impressed with their Halloween display this year, I had to share!

Bellevue Family Photographer | P. Family Sneak Peek

I met the P. Family at a very special park to grandma and her grandson, it's a local park they visit regularly.  Things really picked up when grandpa came in his big work truck!  I adore this family and if it were up to me, I would squish and kiss up those cheeks on Mr. D. throughout the session, he's just that cute and when he smiles, his eyes  light up and everyone around him!  Such a fun family!

The weather was changing every few minutes from misting, to rain and then "hey, I'm getting wet and cold" rain, lots of wind and sunshine too, which is reflected in the images.
