I was on my way home tonight and on Highway 202, (Redmond-Fall City Road) and thankfully I was able to pull off the road at just the right spot, this mama and her nine ducklings were trying to cross and one little guy was having trouble jumping up on the middle barrier--thankfully, he finally was able to jump up on the barrier and join his family. Whew! It was tough trying to get people on the other side of the highway to stop. My weekend would have been ruined had there been anything less than a perfect outcome--and there was, they all made it across safely.

Bellevue Portrait Photographer | Three generations
I had the privilege of photographing three generations this past weekend. My dear friend Nancy, her mother Pearl and her daughter's Breanna and Jess.
I was able to take some time alone with the girls and they were up for anything. We had a great time capturing these images as Jess will be marrying next month! (Breanna was married back in August 2010.)
Photographing siblings with two distinct personalities and how they merge beautifully when they come together is what I hope I've captured here. These sisters are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.
Life moves so quickly and before you know it, your sister or brother is off getting married and before long they are starting families and time slips away in the blink of an eye.
Consider scheduling portrait session with your brother or sister this summer, I can assure you, it will be time well spent and leave you with memories that last a lifetime!

Bellevue Photographer | Super Moon
Last night was the perfect evening for shooting the super moon. There's always that thrill when you're standing there waiting patiently for that glow behind the Cascade mountains and then suddenly it appears. It was breathtaking!

Bellevue Family Photographer | Sneak Peek
I captured this sweet moment where Little D. wanted his parents to kiss and he was going to go to any lengths to see it happen, even if it meant grabbing mom by the hair to bring her in closer to dad.

Finn -May 2010
I've had requests to see the "elusive" Finn. For those that follow my blog you know that Finn is my little feral rescue. No one every gets to see him in person, because he hides under the bed.
Here he is having fun playing with the squirrels and chipmunks through my office window.

May 2010 - Photo of the Month
Baby S. turned two this month!
Once again, I know it's "photo" of the month and not "photos" but I could not pick just one. Take a look at this AMAZING cake her mom made... Six layers! Truly worthy of an extra photo.

Tournament Baseball Weekend
This is a tournament weekend! These girls have played three games in the last two days. Last night's game was halted with only a few innings left due to dusk. After playing two games yesterday, they have to come back this morning at 8:15 a.m. to finish. The outcome of this morning's game will determine if they're moving forward and playing two more games today. Whew!
Some of the girls were battered, bruised, tired and using ice packs waiting in the dugout for their turn to bat.

22 years and counting...
This past weekend Paul and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. We just went out and had fun. The weather was perfect, the dinner was delicious and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Happy Anniversary to J and C. (They celebrated their anniversary this month too!)
