This is the before (on top) and after (below) of an image I took with my iPhone. It just started raining and the lights from the restaurant across the street were making these gorgeous reflections on the street.

Bellevue Child Photographer | April 2012 - Photo of the Month
Sometimes the best images are made behind the scenes at these sporting events, such as this image of Mr. K. with his basketball. He wasn't playing on this day, he was there to watch his sister play softball. This photo was caught on the fly, I simply called his name and he turned around.
I really love this image!

Bellevue Child Photographer | Sisters!
"Husbands come and go; children come and eventually they go. Friends grow up and move away.
But the one thing that’s never lost is your sister."

April 2011 - Photo of the Month
Meet Beaux...
He's a four-month-old Golden Retriever with the energy and curiosity of a toddler just discovering their surroundings. He's such a sweet puppy, friendly, very affectionate and therefore he is the featured Photo of the Month!
You all know me by now... I can hardly choose just one :)

Baby A. turns one!
I just have to say that Baby A.'s mother did, (what I'm sure) was a lot of work to host her daughter's first birthday party. There was not one detail overlooked, right down to the beautiful handmade cards which labeled the variety of sandwiches served and the decorations were outstanding! See the yellow flower balls hanging from the ceiling? She made those too! She's a loving, patient and attentive mother to both her daughters and hubby.
A good time had by all!

A day with Mr. D.

Mr. D and I spent the day shooting together. He told me he wanted to learn more about his camera. My goodness, my job was easy! He already shoots in manual mode... (I'm just saying... WOW!) I thought he did an amazing job.
He shot with my Lensbaby and an aperture kit and took some amazing photos. I haven't even tried using the kit yet, but now he's definitely my inspiration.
I had a wonderful day and look forward to getting together again soon. Next time we plan to move away from the city and look for more peaceful surroundings.
Thank you D.

Deer; but I wish they were goats!
The deer came trotting into the yard with such vigor this morning! I was editing photos in my office and both Finn and I couldn't figure out what all the commotion was outside. I don't know if something scared them, but they were hungry, picking, pulling and nibbling on many of the trees--all five of them.
It got me to thinking...
My yard needs an overhaul and watching what the deer can do... hmmm... What if I had goats in here for a week, I'll bet I could get most of the yard work done in no time!
Nice thought...
