The Little Princess...

This adorable little one lives in her "princess" dress. She was very shy at first, but with a little encouragement, she twirled and played--as long as her little teddy bear could accompany her.

He was quite valiant!

Recently Paul and I were out scouting new locations for outdoor portraits for the upcoming holiday season.

We found a local park tucked away offering nice light, an uncluttered background and privacy. We decided to test the location by shooting some self portraits.

We had a great time playing in front of the camera and I found another nice backdrop for my on-location portraiture clients.

A VERY SPECIAL visit...

This past weekend our daughter Jamie and granddaughter Olivia came up from Oregon.

We had a very nice visit and I was able to take lots of photos. It's not easy chasing a 16-month old, but she was a good sport and didn't seem to mind the flash constantly firing.

Right before school starts each year, my niece will call and ask if we can have a "girl's night." We had our girl's night last Friday and the plan was to take photos. She's a fantastic model for me to try out new techniques and locations. We had a wonderful time together!
